However, diabetes is not only affecting the aged, there are many cases of diabetes being reported among young people. Diabetes is a life-long ailment, which has no permanent cure, but, it can be controlled and arrested. The moment the body stops producing the right amount of insulin then diabetes happens.
Allopathic medicines are available to control diabetes in the market. But, these synthetic medicines are not always safe. In the long run, the body starts facing some problem or the other. So, it is better to go for a natural diabetic/blood sugar medicine instead of the synthetic ones. What are the symptoms of diabetes? Fatigue, weight loss, weak eyesight and excess appetite are some common signs of a diabetic patient. Basically, diabetes is of two types – type 1 and type 2.

A person having diabetes can lead a normal life and need not to be bedridden forever. With appropriate food intake and exercise diabetes can be managed well and can be kept under control and the person can lead a normal healthy and long life as well. Some lifestyle changes are the major requisite to keep it under control. It is best to consult the doctor and follow the suggested treatment if one has doubt about having diabetes. Do not try to do self medication without the suggestion of a doctor. Complete restriction of sweet foods and also carbohydrates that directly get mixed in the blood stream and increase blood sugar levels should be done as watching the food we consume is necessary. The diabetes control process is more or less in the food intake and the kind of diet being followed by the person suffering from it. We can follow the diabetic food list like nuts, avocados, sweet potatoes, cinnamon, onions, garlic, barley, cherries, flaxseed, and lemons to control it. As all these foods are anti-oxidants they can help lowering the blood sugar level to control diabetes. For carrying on with a normal healthy life proper diet and reduction of fat intake should be done so that diabetes can be kept under control. One should follow the diabetes food list for a prolonged period for getting best results with its intake. One must follow an active life that has a proper physical activity regimen every day apart from following a healthy diet. When the fat is burnt and converted to energy due to one taking up to jogging, walking or running it helps in proper maintenance of the insulin levels in the body. Some form of physical activity must be included in daily routine at a time convenient to you may be morning or evening.

Take steps to selecting the right foods for the day. Once you identify foods suitable for consumption, the amount taken is irrelevant. You can get all that lack of approved food and stop taking the forbidden food.

Old age should never be concerned as a pleasure age, might be called relaxing but for pleasure and relax one has to take care of himself so that he/she could survive from any old age problems.

I think diabetic people can't take all the food. They have to avoid sugar in food, dairy food and oily food because with that the can control their diabetes. I think they have to do the Yoga regularly for their health.

good exercise, walking (preferably) or some yoga depending on the age ...no sugar, jaggery or sweets.....even few fruits have to be excluded. by having lot of fibers one can reduce diabetes, like having red rice, ragi (millet) etc. equal amounts of rice and wheat...
