Hi,
I have visited Thekkady with my family during winter holidays of kids and stayed at Eletaria Resort, which I booked from a website …‘bharatonline.com’. For first two-days, we stayed in a tree house and deluxe cottage for the next day.
Trust me it was an enthralling experience of staying at such a place. As per suggested by the website, positioned over an area of 83 acres with rare species of flora and fauna, the resort was simply an awesome. Staffs were great at delighting their guests and services were intended to make every stay pleasurable. I must say it was the best time I have ever spent in my life.

Thekkady is an awesome location and a combination of hills and forest.  One must visit Periyar National Park, which is the landmark for Thekkady.  Mangala Devi Temple
It is situated about 15 km from Thekkady and sits at an altitude of 1337 m above sea level. It is surrounded by lush greenery and is closed throughout the year except during the Chitra Pournami festival. At other times tourists can still view it by getting a special letter from the forest ranger. The view from the temple premises is spectacular and one can see part of eastern ghats and some villages from adjacent state of Tamil Nadu.

It's situated about 15 km via Thekkady and also is located with a good altitude associated with 1337 meters preceding beach amount. It's enclosed by abundant greenery and it is sealed throughout every season other than during the Chitra Pournami festivity. In some other instances holidaymakers can nonetheless notice by receiving a unique correspondence in the high ranger.
