I want to book a room at the hotels in Kodaikanal but I am worried about online transactions. Are they safe? My friends say I will lose my money.

It depends siya

Its safe if you are booking through makemytrip or yatra

I do all my booking and most of my purchasing online from different sites and I have been lucky.

Change your friends! Online transactions on the major travel portals are very secure. The payment procedures, as well as the hotel bookings are extremely reliable. Don’t listen to such talks.

There are so many hotels in Kodaikanal that offer bookings on the net on so many travel websites. If the transactions were not reliable do you think they would have done so?

You don't worry about online transactions because i visited Kodaikanal, India in the last month and before going there we made online booking for resorts in kodaikanal and that was really nice experience...there are lots of peoples didn't get rooms because it was the kodaikanal visitors season time so each and every room booking was closed due to the huge visitors rush. thank god !!! we made online transactions and didn't have any difficulty throughout the journey...  :)
