Thats so true my frend, as i am also confused regarding the admission of my son, if the age required is 3+ its fine, if it is 4+ (as on 1st of april 2011) than my son is 21 days short to become 4+ as his DOB is 22-04-2007, and i have inquired that there is no relaxation given in age criteria.

Yes, International schools help student for Globalised culture. These students interact with students of other countries and know about their culture, traditions and values. Another feature of truly international school is the academic year which coincides with rest of the countries outside India. When students switch from one country to another without compromising on losing a term or reapting a term.

Looking at the success of international schools in India, many school following syllabus ICSE & CBSE affiliated schools have started proclaiming to be international schools.

Hello Kanchan, If you have a child who is about two to three years old, you may consider sending him or her to a nursery. It is important to send a child to such a school because children who are deprived of this phase of education may remain behind others when they join primary school and this can prove to be a disadvantage. for more details here littlemillennium.com

According to 2012-13 circular, for schools that have both nursery and kindergarten classes, the age for admission is 3+. Otherwise for those schools that have only nursery, this age is 4+. Accordingly to the committee, children were emotionally, mentally and physically better equipped to start school at the age of 4. and reduces the pressure on parents as well as children.

Well as latest 2012-13 circular, the age limit is set for 3 years but better you check with latest information as they often change it or consider age during admission time.

The rules are clear as per the Honorable Supreme Court of India, the age limit must be between 3 and 4 years. Just follow the courts order as it is the most powerful authority in India. Wishing you Luck for the admission.
